Christ's Disciple Fellowship and Leadership Training

1.  We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative word of God through which God tells us how to live.  He tells us about His relationship with us and ours with Him.

2.  We believe there is one triune God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life in which He taught us by word and example how to live in a way that pleases God, His offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins so we can share in eternal life, in His bodily resurrection as the first fruit of the promise of eternal loife for all believers, and in His personal return to fulfill the promise and reality of life for all believers.

4.  We believe the Holy Spirit works with seekers and believers to convict them of their sins and their helplessness to change by their own wilpower or behavior.  We believe the Holy Spirit miraculously and progressively transforms sinners into what the Trinity wants them to be.

5.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who dwells within the Christian and leads him to embrace a godly life, who bestows spiritual gifts, talents and abilities upon believers according to the Trinity's plan and purpose for the believer's lif, and who comforts and encourages believers during the tough times of their lives so they can continue on the spiritual path before them.

6.  We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost and that all will come before Christ to account for what they did in life.

7.  We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is composed of all believers regardless of denomination.  All believers are called by God, and all are indwelled by the Holy Spirit.

8.  We believe in the gospel of Christ, which is the message of freedom from sin, death and all ways of living that are spiritually, emotionally and physically harmful.  It is the message of God's commanding believers to love Him, themselves and others in the ways stated in the Bible.
